Hand-woven 100% lambswool patou with traditional finespun border pattern
Patous (woolen shawls or throws) are hand-woven in an age-old tradition, and typically passed from father to son. Men use them around their shoulders in winter, while women sit on them or use them to wrap up newborn babies. Woven in the tribal areas in Pakistan, the patous are made of 100% pure lambswool gathered by local farmers. The patous are available in three colors: tan, sand and bark. The vibrant border designs and colors may vary as they are made and dyed individually. Colors will usually include blues, golds, browns, and saffron. All wool products should be washed by hand in cold water or dry cleaned.
